Pleats, Please

Once a trend that I shied away from, pleats has now become a fashion must have. This trend makes any outfit look more tailored while adding a touch of ladylike class. I am currently loving the look of pleated trousers, maxi skirts, and shorts (weather permitting, of course!)  The maxi has been everywhere the last few seasons and I think incorporating both trends into one look is genius. And as I have already mentioned, pleated trousers will be a big trend this Spring and Summer so playing it up with colors is a fun way to keep the look fresh. Since keeping the trend looking updated is most important in achieving this look, skip any outdated pleated items to avoid the borrowed-from-my-mother look.

Even MORE Spring must-haves from the creative director of Who What Wear, Katherine Power. Her picks are mostly ladylike with hints of bright colors. I think colored trousers will be huge this S/S seeing as Zara already has some great options in their look book. Not only do I want every single think on this list, but I am in LOVE with those Elizabeth & James sunglasses. They are my favorite of Katherine's picks.Want them. Now.

A Touch of Red

I love  how red accessories instantly add so much character to an outfit. When coupled with anything leopard print, it is pure fabulousness. I do also like the way Mireia unexpectedly coupled red with grey, it is such a classic look.
And so the hunt for a pair of amazing red pumps begins...

Must-Haves Part Deux

High Gloss Magazine recently released their premier issue and I have been quite impressed. It is a fashion/lifestyle/interior design online magazine. I honestly can't believe that it's free, but I'm going to take advantage! My favorite section was the style must-haves, I'm always a sucker for lists like this to build my wardrobe on. What do you think of these coveted items? Agree or disagree with the picks?

A Perfect Match

After reading the "Field Guide to a Charmed Life" I was very excited to share with you the top 50 classics every gal should own. I actually agree with mostly everything on this list as I already own some items and wear them all the time (Fedora, Navy Blazer, Ray Bans, Riding Boots). This almost makes me feel the need to make my own checklist!
