Style Profile: Blake Lively

Whether she is filming for Gossip Girl, attending a red carpet event or grabbing a cup of coffee, Blake Lively always stands out with her impeccable style. I love her ability to mix classic pieces with trendier items and make it work. She can pull of literally ANY color - pink  and neon blue trousers? Blake is not afraid to play with trends and pulls it off with class. She has most recently been announced as the new face of Chanel, which is very fitting since she has worn their pieces so often in the past. It is clear that playing Serena Van Der Woodsen has impacted Blake's style so much that, at times, it is difficult to know if she is filming or not. This isn't a bad thing - I wouldn't mind raiding both of their closets!

Style Profile: Sienna Miller

 

After deciding that I wanted to do a post on Sienna Miller, I almost couldn't stop editing and adding pictures. This girl really knows how to mix it up and inspire with her vintage/boho style. Although I have not been much of a fan of her work, I am completely obsessed with Sienna Miller's style. She literally makes the hippie chic trend all her own and I think she has been a big reason why it has become so popular in recent years. Sienna always looks comfortable and confident while being a free spirit and having fun with her style. She tends to emphasize her style with statement accessories and mixing her favorite pieces unconventionally. I am definitely going to take some pointers and try being a little more spontaneous with my own fashion sense. I mean, it's just clothes, right?

Style Profile: Alexa Chung

To say Alexa Chung has brought back the androgynous look is an understatement. A self proclaimed tomboy, Alexa is constantly styling her looks with tailored menswear and adding a vintage-feminine appeal all at the same time. This ultra cool British It-girl has such a playful take on fashion and always seems to be having fun with what she wears. Not only can she mix high with low (Topshop with Chanel?!) but she always looks comfortable doing it. Although not exactly my taste at times, I can appreciate Alexa Chung's unique style and am definitely in love with her taste in accessories....case in point: leopard print handbags.

Style Profile: Olivia Palermo

Miss Palermo may come off as a the villain of the MTV series "The City", but her style is what she has become known for. Olivia is constantly on best dressed lists and was voted one of the years best dressed people in 2010. While she isn't being filmed for a reality TV show, she uses her socialite status to attend the most exclusive social functions and can be spotted with her gorgeous model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl. Olivia is also in talks of creating her own fashion line and also her own reality show. When it comes to style, Olivia tends to stick with the classics and adds her own touch with statement making shoes and accessories. What I love most about Olivia's style is her ability to mix trends (Feminine with Menswear, Formal with Casual, etc) and I also appreciate the fact that she doesn't live in heels. We all know that flats can be just as fashionable and much more comfortable!
